FOR 2012 - LIVE MUSIC EACH SATURDAY THIS WEEK FEBRUARY 18TH SEES KAT AND IAN HERE FOR THE FIRST TIME. NEXT SATURDAY WE HAVE PAUL LAKE AND THEN LYNN WITH THE COLLABORATORS ON THE 3RD MARCH. WE ARE NOW TAKING BOOKINGS FOR ST PATRICK'S NIGHT - LIVE IRISH MUSIC IN THE BAR AND A SPECIAL IRISH THEMED MENU. YOU CAN ALSO BOOK NOW FOR MOTHER'S DAY. WE OFFER THREE SITTINGS, 12 NOON, 2.30PM AND ALSO 5PM - GOOD FOR ANYONE WHO HAS TO WORK. GREAT MENU WITH NO INFLATED PRICES. WE ARE ALREADY COMPILING OUR BEER LIST FOR THE EASTER BEER FESTIVAL STARTING ON GOOD FRIDAY 6TH APRIL. ENTERTAINMENT THROUGHOUT WITH THE ONE EYED CATS HEADLING ON SATURDAY NIGHT. OUR NEW OPEN MIC NIGHT STARTS ON THURSDAY 8TH MARCH IN THE FIRST FLOOR FUNCTION SUITE. IT IS OPEN TO EVERYONE - ORGANISED BY JULIA FROM AIN'T MISBEHAVING - ITS A PURELY ACCOUSTIC SET. COME AND LISTEN, OR COME AND PLAY. STARTS AT 8PM. The menu - why not try a starter of seared scallops with apple puree and pancetta and follow this with pan fried sea bass on herb risotto with roasted cherry tomatoes or thyme roasted lamb rump with redcurrant and port sauce , dauphinoise potatoes and pak choi - the choice is varied and all the dishes are cooked from fresh local ly sourced produce. Food served all day Saturday, from 12 noon to 9pm. Every day during the week lunch is served 12-2pm and evenings 6 -9pm and 12 -6pm on sundays. . We also have a lunchtime special menu - offering a range of courses with a wide choice of dishes from £6.95 for one course, £8.95 for two courses and £10.95 for three courses. The full menu is also available. The early bird menu runs from 6pm to 7pm Monday to Friday inclusive - offering the three courses for £10.95 OUR QUIZ NIGHT RUNS EVERY SUNDAY EVENING FROM 8.30PM FOR ABOUT 90 MINUTES. ITS FUN AND CERTAINLY NOT TOO SERIOUS. THIRTY QUESTIONS, PLUS A PICTURE ROUND AND ONE MYSTERY ROUND. TEAMS OF FOUR IF POSSIBLE - £1 ENTRY PER PERSON. LOTS OF PRIZES. OUR PERMANENT MARQUEE IS AVAILBLE FOR HIRE FOR PARTIES, WEDDING RECEPTIONS, CHRISTENINGS AND CORPORATE EVENTS.
